Sublime Sponte is a stunning perlino section D stallion who is line-bred to some of the best welsh cob stallions in history and featuring some all-time greats in his extended pedigree.
His sire, Trevallion Harley, is a lovely buckskin stallion by the great stallion Trevallion Flash Jack, making Harley a ¾ brother to the RWAS Champion Welsh Cob in 2000, Danaway Flash Jack and a ½ brother to countless champions including RWAS reserve champion Welsh Cob in 2003, Trevallion Gwyneth.
His dam’s pedigree is no less impressive with Divine Sponte, being a daughter of the 1993 French National Supreme Champion stallion Wildham Flying Free (a son of four times Prince of Wales Cup winner Llanarth Flying Comet).
She is a full sister of Everest Sponte, who is the 1997 Supreme Hunter Champion at the ‘Salon du cheval et du Poney’ in Paris ; and half-sister to French showjumping and dressage champions Diego Sponté (in 2002 and 2008) and Edinburgh Sponté (in 2004).
Sublime is line bred to several great champion stallions and his pedigree shows at least 6 crosses to Pentre Eiddwen Comet, 6 crosses to Mathrafal, 3 crosses to Llanarth Braint and 3 crosses to Nebo Black Magic. In addition to these four great names, his pedigree features welsh cobs such as Brynymor Welsh Magic, Cippyn Real Magic, Tyngwndwn Cream Boy, Tapton Rachael, Parc Lady, Derwen Telynor, Cahn Dafydd, Llanarth Flying Comet, Llanarth Flying Saucer and Llanarth Brummel. The majority of these great mares and stallions were Royal Welsh Champions in their time and Sublime’s extended pedigree includes no less than 18 welsh cobs that were Prince of Wales cup winners (between them holding the cup 31 times).
With an extended pedigree that can be documented back to 1833 and featuring 12 of the 20 earliest Prince of Wales Cup winners he really is bred in the purple and this shows in his quality, type and temperament.
It is therefore no surprise that Sublime himself has also been successfully shown.

Being champion in hand, ridden and driven and 4 times awarded with the coveted “Premium stallion”-rosette is quite an achievement for a cob (stallion) that may be considered an ‘unusual’ colour and not the judge’s natural choice!

On top of that Sublime has been awarded the predicate "ERKEND VADERDIER (recognised reproducer/sire" by Welsh Belgium. This special predicate has only been given to 2 other stallions (1x cob - 1x part-bred) before.
Because we think that a 'real cob' should be able to do more than just being pretty and trot in hand, Sublime is also trained for driving (single & in tandem) and riding (including jumping).
Sublime stands at public stud to a limited amount of mares. Stud-fee and -conditions on request.
